General
The Seymour Duncan SH-55b is the result of a collaboration between Seymour and humbucker inventor Seth Lover. This bridge model is based on the original 1955 P.A.F. pickup and exudes pure vintage charm. Featuring plastic bobbins, an Alnico II magnet, a wooden spacer and a silver-nickel base plate, this humbucker delivers a warm, open tone with just the right amount of low end and a smooth, defined high end. Thanks to the absence of wax potting, the sound remains true to the original: clear, dynamic and full of character. Ideal for guitarists seeking that authentic P.A.F. feel in country, jazz, blues and classic rock.
