The Seymour Duncan SH-55n pays tribute to the inventor of the humbucker, Seth Lover, and brings the iconic sound of the 1950s to life. Featuring an Alnico II magnet, plastic bobbins and a silver-nickel base plate, this neck pickup delivers a warm, open tone with just the right amount of low end and a smooth, clear high end. Thanks to its meticulous recreation of the original 1955 P.A.F. design, including a wooden spacer and black paper tape, this humbucker is ideal for musicians who love a rich, classic tone. The pickup is not wax-filled, resulting in an exceptionally authentic sound, perfect for genres such as country, jazz, blues and classic rock. With its medium output and attractive gold-coloured cover, the SH-55n takes any electric guitar to the next level in terms of both sound and appearance.
