General

The hardest of the hard, that's the kind of sound the Seymour Duncan SH-8b Invader is built for. This fire-breathing, metal, heavy-rock, and even grindcore-style focussed bridge humbucker comes finished with four-conductor wiring so it can be wired in for coil-split switching, and the thick humbucker sound can be cracked in two for a bright single-coil tone. The oversized pole screws make it just as effective when mounted on models with a fixed bridge with traditional string spacing, as it is when mounted on models with a tremolo bridge with standard tremolo spacing.

The B SH-8b Invader: Big Sound Supported By Big Output

The SH-8 Invader has evidently been built to meet one demand: to pull the highest possible output out of a passive pickup. To achieve this, the Invader comes fitted with no less than three ceramic magnets, and since the more you wind it the more output you're gonna get, this pickup has an overwound coil which, coupled with those oversized magnet poles, means you know exactly what you're getting.
