General
The superlative of hard, that's the style of music this Seymour Duncan SH-8b Invader is at home in. Meant for all metal and heavy rock styles. The SH-8b also features a 4-core cable, which also makes it suitable for coil-split switching. So this allows you to dispose of the bright single-coil sound of this bridge element yourself if desired. Thanks to the oversized pole screws, the Seymour Duncan SH-8b is suitable for both guitars with a fixed bridge and guitars with a tremolo bridge.
SH-8b Invader: big sound with ultra-high output
The SH-8 Invader was made with one purpose only, to get the highest possible output from a passive element. For this reason, the element features no less than 3 ceramic magnets. The more windings of copper wire wrapped around the magnets the higher the output will be. The SH-8 invader has an over-wound coil. The last component that determines the output of a humbucker is the pole rods in the element, these too are oversized in the SH-8b Invader. In short, with 3 ceramic magnets, an over-wound coil and 12 oversized pole rods, this SH-8b Invader produces an electric field you can't say no to.
