General
The ideal partner for the bridge variant, the Seymour Duncan SH-8n Invader humbucker pulls back a touch in terms of output and delivers more warmth, striking the ideal balance with the renowned high-gain and life-packed sound of the SH-8b. While the tone of the bridge edition can only be described as brutal and loud, the neck edition is more mild and features a ceramic core that frames any notes and chords with refined warmth. Through heavy distortion, the naturally round tone helps shape extra sustain and adds a sweet ripped edge to the sound. The Seymour Duncan SH-8n also features four-conductor wiring, so it fully supports coil-split and parallel switching.
