General

The Seymour Duncan SJM-2n has been specially designed for those who want to get the most out of their Jazzmaster. This single-coil neck pickup gives you instantly higher output and, at first glance, resembles a classic Jazzmaster pickup, but beneath the surface lies a real powerhouse. Thanks to its overwound coil, Alnico V magnets and a DC resistance of 11.6 kOhm, this pickup delivers a warm, aggressive sound with strong bass, rich lower-midrange tones and extra sustain. The reverse winding and polarity also provide useful noise cancellation when used with the correct bridge pickup. Furthermore, it is wax-potted and fitted with a PVC lead, making it robust enough for intensive use on stage or in the studio.
