Seymour Duncan Slash 3.0 Humbucker Set, 1-Conductor Cable - Black Nickel Cover

General

Slash’s collaboration with Seymour Duncan has been producing iconic rock sounds for decades, and the Slash 3.0 Humbucker Set takes things up a notch. This set was developed for a special occasion: Guns N’ Roses’ performance at the ‘Back to the Beginning’ tribute, where Slash needed just that little bit extra in terms of output and bite. The result is the most aggressive Slash pickup to date, yet it still retains the recognisable precision, clarity and honesty of his signature sound. You get a complete set for the neck and bridge, ready to make your guitar really cut through the mix.

More output, more bite

The Slash 3.0 delivers tighter lows and a faster attack, making riffs and leads feel more direct and cut through better in a busy band setting. At the same time, the tone retains its definition: chords remain clear and single notes stay focused, even with more gain. This makes the set ideal for modern rock and hard rock sounds, without losing that classic humbucker character. With a rough-cast Alnico V magnet, the foundation is warm and powerful, but with that extra ‘edge’ that Slash himself asked for: just that little bit more kick.

Authentic construction for vintage-style guitars

These humbuckers are hand-built in Santa Barbara (USA) using classic construction methods, such as wooden spacers, traditional components and vacuum wax potting to prevent unwanted microphony. The long-leg mounting makes them particularly suitable for vintage-style humbucker installation, as commonly seen on Les Paul® and SG®-style guitars. The set comes with a 1-conductor braided shield cable, which fits perfectly with traditional wiring. Please note: once the cable has been cut or soldered, the right of return generally lapses.
