The Seymour Duncan STK-S6 Custom Stack Plus Strat is an alnico 5 single-coil guitar element designed specifically for ST-style electric guitars. This noiseless version of the popular SSL-5 Custom Staggered for Stratocaster gives you that same powerful output and drive, but without making any concessions to that signature Strat sound. The basses sound tight and clear, while the treble comes across nicely sharp without being overly bright. Moreover, the subtle, almost vocal quality in the middle adds an extra expressive dimension to your sound. Thanks to a special lower coil that injects a negative hum into the circuit, this guitar element remains completely silent during use.

Custom Stack Plus Strat: hum-free authentic vintage tones for any position

The alnico 5 rod magnets provide an authentic vintage sound, while the 3-wire allows switching to a true single-coil mode with less output and an even more sparkling guitar sound. Each STK-S6 is carefully hand-built at Seymour Duncan's factory in Santa Barbara, California, and individually tuned for optimal suppression of any troublesome humming noises. Finally, each pickup is wax-dipped to ensure guitar playing without feedback. The classic single-coil look is retained and this Custom Stack Plus performs superbly in both the neck, middle and bridge positions.
