General

The Positive Grid Spark CAB 2 Black is a powerful active FRFR speaker cabinet that expands your Spark amplifier into a full-fledged, stage-ready rig. Delivering 140 watts RMS and 400 watts peak power, this cabinet produces a clear, room-filling sound ideal for home practice, rehearsals, and live performances. The redesigned acoustics and upgraded signal processing ensure exceptional detail, even at higher volumes. Thanks to its full-range, flat-response (FRFR) design, the Spark CAB 2 is also perfectly suited for other gear, including modelers, floorboards, amp simulators, and effect pedals with a line-level output.

Versatile Connectivity and Tone Control

The Spark CAB 2 features a dedicated 3.5 mm stereo input for Spark amplifiers, as well as two mono XLR/TRS combo inputs for external audio sources. The input selector lets you seamlessly switch between these connections. A balanced XLR output sends your signal directly to a PA system, while independent volume controls allow you to adjust the speaker volume and line-out level separately. The Contour switch boosts low and high frequencies to maintain a balanced tone at lower volumes. Additionally, the Ground Lift switch eliminates unwanted hum and noise—a essential feature for gigging and studio setups.

A Practical Extension for Your Spark Rig

Beyond sound reinforcement, the Spark CAB 2 acts as a power hub for compatible devices in the Spark ecosystem. Its DC output provides 20 V at 2.5 A for the Spark 2 and Spark 40. The USB-C output (5 V at 2 A) lets you power and charge the Spark MINI, Spark GO, and Spark PEDAL. This USB-C port is also used for firmware updates. The cabinet features a sturdy wooden enclosure with a classic tolex finish and a woven fabric grille. Two recessed side handles and an adjustable cable tie make transporting and setting up your rig effortless.
