General

Rode’s lavalier microphones, the SmartLav and Lavalier, are well suited for the amplification of speech and vocals. In order for them to be able to do so, they need to be positioned close to your mouth, however. To this end, Rode have developed the Lav Headset, a headset of hardened steel. It allows you to easily position a lavalier microphone precisely where it needs to be. This medium version is fit for teenagers and adults. At the rear there is a fastening point that allows you to secure the cable, minimising the chances of cable breakage. It is perfect for long presentations or gigs, thanks to its comfortable shape.

Wrote the following about RØDE Lav-Headset Medium

Headset gekocht voor bij de Rode Go wireless microfoon systeem zoals wordt geadviseerd. Headset valt groot uit voor een vrouw. Zeker in de neck is er teveel ruimte over en vraagt nogal buigwerk om het acceptabel te maken. De microfoon steekt te veel naar voren, veel meer dan op de verpakkingsfoto staat en er is geen goede instuctie hoe je de headset kan aanpassen (dus buigen maar dan) . Met de microfoon (ik had wit gekozen) maakt de zwarte headset een rommelig geheel.
