The omnidirectional HSP Essential headset from Sennheiser is barely visible from a distance and only weighs 25 grams. The KE 4 condenser capsule gives this incredibly discreet headset a detailed sound with minimal distortion and is fitted with the unique 'umbrella' membrane, ensuring that the microphone is resistant to moisture. The microphone itself can be mounted on the left or right side of the headset.

Look, these are not the best, but they get the job done. I don't know what the guy above is going on about, there is no in-built reverb. They are a straight omni directional mic, same as you would get from DPA, only they are not as good in that the high end register is not as crisp and distorts easily, and the lower resister does not have enough body. However, if I wanted a mic that fits most actors, is easy to adjust and will get me through a show then this is a solid choice.

Goede, heldere en stevige headset. Opvallend is dat deze niet erg aanraakgevoelig is, wat prettig is voor iedereen. Hoewel onze historische kerk een galm heeft van enkele seconden, horen we daar maar weinig van terug. Kortom een prettige microfoon voor in onze kerk.

Als je professioneel acteur, spreker of zanger bent is dit geen goede microfoon. Galmt, zingt snel rond, pakt enorm veel omgevingsgeluid. Geen aanrader.
