General

The Roland KC-550 is a next step in the KC series of instrument amplifiers. Plug your keyboard, synthesizer, microphone or other sound source into this speaker combination and its high-quality sound will astound you. The KC series has been optimised for a wide range of sound and signal sources and therefore always provides a complete reproduction of the sound of your key instrument. This KC-550 features a 15-inch speaker with a separate horn tweeter and a 180W amplifier.

Four complete input channels, aux-in, subwoofer out and stereo link mode

Roland's KC series was originally designed for keyboards and synthesizers. Its module is equipped with so many connectors, however, that you could almost plug in an entire band! The wide frequency range of the speaker ensures that vocals or MP3 music files are beautifully reproduced. The KC offers extensive connection options via no less than 4 different stereo channels. Additionally, the KC-550 features two XLR line-out outputs and two via ¼-inch jack.

Extensive channel and master control section

The KC-550 has been developed specifically for demanding musicians and as such, its top panel looks almost like a mixer. First of all there is a three-band equalizer with master volume control. In addition, each channel has it own volume knob. Channel 4 is equipped with an output selection knob. It is also possible to connect a pair of headphones, so you can hear your own instrument over the speaker as well as via the headphones.
