Roland KC-200 100W Keyboard Amplifier

General

The Roland KC-200 is a comprehensive yet straight-up keyboard amplifier with a power capacity of 100 Watts via a 12-inch speaker. Four line-inputs, an XLR input and an AUX input offer more than enough connection options and while this amp has been developed with a focus on keyboards and synths, it can happily accommodate organs, electronic drum kits, drum machines or percussion pads. This highly flexible, dependable amp is made for transparent, defined sound reproduction in pretty much any situation.

The Roland-developed Bass-Reflex housing of this amp is now renowned for the insanely low-frequency response it adds. The smart housing and the mounted 12-inch speaker combine to shape outstanding bass, making the KC-200 as perfect for electronic kicks as it is for 88-note keyboards while an integrated EQ is provided to tweak the overall sound.

Connectors

A number of different connection options are laid out including four line inputs with the first channel offering both a standard jack and XLR input so a microphone can even be connected. The fourth input is designed for monitoring via the amplifier and headphone output so that something like a click or guide track can be run through without the signal being sent to the PA. If more low-end is needed, an extra subwoofer can be linked up to the provided 'Sub Out' and a tablet or phone can be connected using the mini-jack AUX input while, for quieter practice, the speaker is automatically muted as soon as a set of headphones is plugged in.
