The Roland KC-80 is a highly compact little amplifier that, while designed with a focus on keyboards and synthesizers, can certainly take on organs, drum machines, electronic drum kits or percussion pads. This plucky little amp weighs a mere 12.5kg and will support smaller shows or home rehearsals.

While its power capacity of 50 Watts won't cause any explosions, when miked up, the KC-80 will be able to handle most situations. The Roland developed Twin Bass-Reflex housing, coupled with the mounted 10-inch woofer, shapes the extensive low-frequency response of this amp while keeping distortion to an absolute minimum. This means that this little amp can even accommodate 88-note stage pianos as well as the kick drum of an electronic kit.

Connection Options

Fitted with three line inputs, an AUX input and the option to connect a microphone via XLR on the first channel. As such, you could even connect up to three keyboards or two keyboard and a microphone to this amp. When a set of headphones is connected, the speaker is automatically muted and, due to a standard jack output round the back, hooking up to a PA is little trouble. Here, a 'Sub Out' is also included so that an extra subwoofer can be chained to add another thick layer of low-end and completes this affordable and plucky little amp that comes with essential features you didn't even know you needed.

Wat een lekker versterkertje! Natuurlijk met de Roland kwaliteit die je mag verwachten. Hij is sterk en compact en geeft precies dat wat ik nodig heb voor mijn elektronische instrumenten (Yamaha piano en Roland FR8x accordeon). Opvallend goede bas voor de betrekkelijk kleine 10 inch luidspreker. Er zijn luidsprekers van 12 inch, die dat niet halen. Het aantal aansluitingen is voor mij voldoende. Fijn dat er ook een goede microfoonaansluiting bij zit voor versterking van bijvoorbeeld de klassieke gitaar of zang.
