Most flight cases are made of wood, and are therefore more susceptible to damage should they end up at the bottom of the tour bus with the rest of the gear piled on top of them. The interior dimensions of this case are 1,499 x 483 x 168 mm and the exterior dimensions are 1,638 x 565 x 260 mm. This case weighs about 14.5 kilos on its own, which may seem on the heavy side, but most flight cases on the market today are even heavier. To make transportation even easier, it comes equipped with a set of castors and two rubber handles. It's also fitted with four latches, two of which feature TSA locks, which brings us to the next aspect: travelling with your keyboard by air.
