General

The Korg PA600 is a comprehensive keyboard full of natural, vibrantsounds. Korg has put all the functionality and main sound characteristics of the PA series in a single compact and affordable instrument. In addition to 950 factory sounds and 64 factory drum kits (there is more room for user sounds), the Korg PA-600 features various effects, 360 backing styles, a 16-track sequencer, a very practical colour touch screen and a microSD slot that can be used for the decryption of encrypted samples.

Backing styles of the Korg PA-600

The remarkably convincing pre-programmed styles of the keyboard can be used as an automatic backing track, as they follow the bass tones or chords you play. The styles are all freely configurable and if you like the results of your experiments, you can store them - up to 1,120 user presets are at your disposal. The Enhanced Guitar Mode 2 allows you to create realistic guitar parts, and the various functions of the PA600 can be operated by means of the practical controls and the large touch screen.

MIDI, MP3 and connectors

Not only does the PA-600 enable you to make your own layered arrangements, but it also allows for the playback of MIDI and MP3 files. It's possible to adjust the pitch and tempo of an MP3 file, which makes playing along much easier, and the various parts in your MIDI files can even be viewed as musical notation. Two built-in 15-watt speakers provide you with a powerful audio reproduction, but if you prefer you can also connect a pair of headphones or an external audio system to the Korg PA600 keyboard.
