The AKG Perception P120: High SPL 

The P120 is highly impressive with its high maximum SPL of 150 dB, making it suitable for the recording of drums, stage sound or other loud sources, without distortion occurring. Thanks to the -20 dB attenuation pad, this SPL is possible. When the pad is switched off, the maximum SPL is still 130 dB! The stable condenser capsule has a cardioid pickup pattern, making it very versatile: from vocal recordings in the studio to overhead on stage. It operates on phantom power with voltages between 44 and 52 volts.

Low-cut from 300 Hz

Besides the switchable pad, the Perception P120 is provided with a low-cut from 300 Hz (6 dB/oct). It allows you to eliminate low-frequency handling noise, like the tapping of a foot near a microphone stand or the overly expressive grabbing of the stand. As the low-cut is switchable, you can also select the full frequency response, which in that case runs from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The light diaphragm excellently handles HF sound, for detailed recordings. The AKG P120 is delivered including a stand adapter.
