Amplifying percussion is always a difficult task. The microphone needs to process a lot and the volumes are often very high. This means that the microphone needs to be able to handle extreme circumstances and this is something that AKG completely understands. The P4 was developed with two things in mind: it needed to record sound in high-quality and secondly, it needed to be attractively priced. AKG have certainly succeeded in these two objectives and thanks to the solid construction of the AKG P4 you can rest assured that it will last a long time without any problems.
The P4 microphone is developed so that the tones of the drums or the wind instrument are passed on naturally. The microphone can also transfer high SPL values and therefore the microphone can also be placed in front of a guitar amplifier. Het enige wat iets minder is zijn de tom-clips, heb ik andere voor besteld.
Verder zijn ze wat groter als een 604, maar ja dit wil ook prima. Degelijk en zeer lage prijs.
Super set! Bassdrum mic gebruiken we eigenlijk bijna altijd, de ander mics ligt aan de locatie.
De P4 gebruik ik voor mijn gitaar versterker en dat werkt perfect.
En uiteraard met de snelle levering en service, de dik verdiende vijf sterren!

Dans l'ensemble je le trouve très chaleureux, avec des basses assez profonde et des aigus clair, juste comme il faut.
Très bon rapport qualité prix, je referai cet achat les yeux fermés, d'ailleurs je pense me racheter un autre micro de cette gamme AKG P toute récente.
