CAD Audio's Equitek E100s large-diaphragm condenser microphone has a remarkably low self-noise level and plenty of versatility thanks to the -10dB pad and low AF filter. It features a redesigned diaphragm and Quadra-FET technology, resulting in a microphone with a wide dynamic range and a warm sound that is reminiscent of the classic German FET mics. With a self-noise level of only 3.7 dBA, the E100s is one of the quietest microphones in its price class. Audio sources of any volume level are no problem for this top-notch device. When the -10 dB attenuator is switched on, it boasts a maximum SPL of 150 dB without clipping. Finally, the E100s comes complete with a shock mount and a wooden storage case.
