The Golden Age Audio GA ELA M 251E is more than a nod to the Telefunken ELA M 251 E — it's a straight-up clone. From the capsule to the pickup pattern selector switch, this valve condenser microphone looks just like the original, and thankfully so. Needless to say, it also sounds the part, courtesy of a K251D capsule and its warm sound and velvety trebles. The GA ELA M 251E captures even the most vociferous soul singers with sonic balance, but can also be used to record pianos and acoustic guitars. Whatever it's used for, it's guaranteed to take your takes to a higher level.
