General
Outfitted with a Golden Drop Capsule based on the legendary CK12 capsule (think AKG C12 and the Telefunken ELA-M 251), the JZ Microphones Vintage 12 is a modern condenser microphone packing old-school sound. For a long time, it was believed that the velvety trebles produced by valve-based circuits couldn't be shaped using a solid state circuit, but JZ Microphones show otherwise. The V12 boasts a highly consistent cardioid pickup pattern and a satisfying proximity effect, and it probably won't be long before this new-generation vocal microphone becomes a household name in studios the world over.
