The Lauten Audio Signature Atlantis FC-387 is a professional and adaptable large-diaphragm condenser microphone equipped with three pickup patterns (cardioid, omni-directional and bi-directional) to give you the possibility to experiment with the spatial aspect of sound. In addition, Lauten Audio's Signature Series microphones uniquely feature Multi-Voicing technology, allowing you to switch between three sound variations. In Forward mode, the microphone boosts the signal with an extra dose of presence to make vocals sound closer and give acoustic guitars more 'air'. Gentle mode does the opposite and takes the sharp edge out of naturally high-pitched instruments, while Neutral mode lies somewhere in between the first two. Whichever one you choose, the Atlantis FC-387 offers true-to-life definition and harmonic sound. Shock mount and case included.

Super stabiel en gebalanceerd geluidsbeeld. Zeer prettig als zang microfoon en heel intuitief als 'instrument' als het gaat om gebruik maken van proximity etc. De verschillende circuits en de padding (waarmee je de voorversterker bijvoorbeeld meer werk kan laten doen) zijn voor mij echt een plus. Snel dichtbij het gewenste geluid te komen waarmee ik minder in de mix fase hoef te doen. Voor een condensor gebruikt in een niet optimale ruimte (home studio, living room) werkt hij beter dan mijn andere condensors. Niet zeker waardoor dat komt.
Naast zang zover alleen op diverse akoestische gitaren gebruikt. Was met enig zoeken mogelijk om zelfs mijn meest gecompliceerde (een lame horse saddle pal) close te mic-en en met weinig moeite in een mix te zetten als meest prominente instrument in singer-songwriter opname.
Kortom: zover erg blij met deze aankoop.
