In the WL184 this is an electret condenser microphone, designed to be used for all kinds of wireless applications. It has a 120cm cable with a TA4F connector, so that you can easily connect it to any Shure beltpack transmitter. The super-cardioid pickup pattern ensures that you can aim the microphone accurately at the sound source, in order to counter feedback as much as possible.
