General
The Framus Artist Line Breaker Series WH-1 TOM LH is the left-handed Wolf Hoffmann signature model for guitarists looking for a tight-playing guitar with plenty of definition. The set-neck construction, featuring a poplar body and a flamed mahogany top (veneer), provides a balanced foundation with excellent sustain. The maple neck with a C-profile and natural oil finish feels instantly familiar, whilst the Nirvana Black Transparent High Polish finish allows the wood to shine through beautifully. A true stage guitar that holds its own just as well in the studio.
Fishman Fluence: clear, powerful and versatile
In terms of electronics, this WH-1 is fitted with Fishman Fluence Wolf Hoffmann Signature pickups: a single-coil at the neck and a humbucker at the bridge. This allows you to effortlessly produce sparkling clean tones, tight rhythm parts and powerful leads with plenty of attack. The CRL 3-way pickup selector switch lets you switch between positions quickly, whilst the MEC push/pull volume pot allows you to easily engage additional humbucker voicings. Handy if you need multiple tones during a single set, without the need for extra switches or faff.
Playability, hardware and what’s included
The WH-1 is built for comfort and speed, with a 25.5-inch scale length, 12-inch radius and 24 ‘small and high’ stainless steel frets. Thanks to Invisible Fretwork Technology (IFT), the fret ends are rounded, resulting in noticeably smoother playability. The fluorescent green Luminlay side dots help you on dark stages. For a fixed-bridge sound with precise intonation, it features a TonePros Tune-O-Matic Bridge T3BT-B, combined with a Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL 6642-L0 nut. Includes a 15 mm padded V-gigbag and accessories.
