The iRig Mic HD is IK Multimedia's first professional handheld microphone that can be plugged directly into an iOS device. That means you can record vocals, interviews or voice overs in high quality, without the intervention of all manner of peripherals. Just take this microphone and your iOS device and you'll be able to start recording. Furthermore, the iRig Mid HD can also be used with your Mac, for vlogs and covers. It comes with two types of cable - Lightning and USB.

Uitstekende stemklank bij mic regelaar op 15 uur en app gain op 7. Afstand tot spreker was ongeveer 40 cm. Overzetten bestand op mijn Mac ging moeiteloos met een sleep-actie. Ik ben toen overgegaan op een Studiopakket voor 39,95, dan had ik alles....ja hoor, nog steeds maar 1 spoor op de recorder. Pas na nog eens een aanvulling van 14,95 had ik alle 8 sporen. Slechte zaak van Apple, daar men iets beloofd wat niet waar is. Ik heb gemaild naar Apple om mijn 2e aankoop niet door te belasten, maar uiteraard geen antwoord gekregen...

We hebben de microfoon getest op de iPhone 5S. Er is direct een duidelijk verschil hoorbaar in de geluidskwaliteit vergeleken met de interne microphone van de iPhone zelf die omnidirectioneel is. Als je on-road bent en dat niet kunt opzetten, zou ik een shure windscreen erop zetten wat bijna hetzelfde effect heeft en je ook geen last meer hebt van ademgeruis.
Kortom, zeer gebruiksvriendelijke mic met een mooi, warm geluid. Voor deze prijs de beste koop als je de ingebouwde mic van de iPhone wilt verbeteren.
ps. er zit ook kabel bij om de mic aan te sluiten op een normale USB poort en een microfoonhouder dus die je hoef je niet mee te bestellen bij het statief.
