The Track One truly excels at two things: it's super simple to use and it boasts outstanding sound quality. Use it to record vocals and instruments, either live or in the studio.
This channel strip features an instrument and microphone preamplifier with +48V Phantom power and balanced XLR and jack inputs. The preamp's sound may be described as solidly neutral. Use the compressor/limiter, which can be linked to the preamp, to add a touch of compression to your recordings or hook up a second Track One compressor to create a stereo compressor configuration.
The built-in de-esser takes care of those annoying p, t and s sound, saving you a ton of time of editing. Of course, no channel strip is ever complete wthout EQ, so the Track One comes with a 3-band EQ with a neutral timbre.
This SPL channel strip can be perfectly integrated into a digital studio thanks to its ADC digital I/O expansion which provides you with a SPDIF output for your audio interfance to combine analogue audio processing with a digital setting.
The Lundahl transformer adds dynamics, improved frequency response and ultimately a higher input signal to your Track One. The dual-wound transformers are both isolated, magnetically separated, and enclosed inside a metal housing. Lastly, ADC functionality has blessed the Track One with a digital input and output.
