The Shure A55HM is a microphone isolation mount, which absorbs shocks and vibrations, thus preventing unwanted noise from polluting your recording. It features a patented snap-in system that allows you to quickly and easily snap the microphone in place, without having to remove the cable first. It's suited for a wide range of microphones, such as the Shure SM57/58/86, Beta57A/57C and other tapered handle microphones.
