General
Backed up by SPL's in-house developed 120 Volt technology, the SPL Crescendo Duo Microphone preamp boasts an enormous mass of headroom that will almost never distort. This two-channel preamp leaves vocals and instruments sounding astonishingly vivid and dynamic and supports a gain range of +18dB to +70dB. Open up the Trim pot to add an extra 10 decibels of gain as needed. Around the back, two identical outputs are provided per channel so the sound of your microphones can be sent to two separate recording systems. The dual outputs can also be used for parallel processing: send one output through a compressor and leave the other output unprocessed, so that a blend of both can be made during the mixing phase.
