Je weet allang wat een goede preamp is. Je hebt de discussies gehad, de shootouts gedaan, de plugin-emulaties door je handen laten glippen op zoek naar iets dat gewoon niet te vangen valt in code. Dus laten we het kort houden! De Force is de vierkanaals tube-preamp van Manley, direct afgeleid van de bekroonde CORE-channelstrip. Vier keer een 12AX7 dual triode, elk gekoppeld aan een handgewikkelde Manley IRON-ingangstransformator. Class-A, hoogspanning, geen compromissen. Manley's filosofie is simpel en inmiddels een cliché in de beste zin: hoge spanning geeft hoge headroom, hoge headroom geeft hoge fidelity. Dit is geen instapmodel en het is ook niet bedoeld als instapmodel. Het is de front-end voor sessies waar vier kanalen er ook echt vier moeten zijn - drums, live ensembles, strijkers - zonder dat je inlevert op karakter of headroom.
