The iCON P1-X is a handy extension for your P1-M. More channels, more control, greater ease of use. Available for that expansion is a 'meter bridge', a bar with small screens displaying information. Normally a separate edition, but with this iCON P1-X/D4 Display Bundle, a P1-X is now available with the matching D4 meter bridge. And for less than the sum of its parts!

Wrote the following about iCON P1-X/D4 Display Bundle USB MIDI DAW Controller

Het schijnt dat de iCON control surfaces meer of minder zaken compatible hebben met verschillende DAW, maar voor mij was dit echt de perfecte match: ik werk met een dinosaurus uit de computer tijd: Digital Performer.
Vanuit DP11 is het connectoren echt heel makkelijk maar als je ook P1M_P1X iMAP gebruikt werkt het nog veel beter. Sowieso kun je je hele P1-M + x aantal (max 7) P1-X tegelijk schakelen naar een hele andere DAW met hun eigen shortcuts en interactie met je control surface maar dat is voor mij alleen maar een kers op de taart.
Het mooie is dat ik in mijn setup mijn tracknamen en kleuren perfect zie in de D4 / D4-T die netjes boven de tracks hangen. Hoef nauwelijks meer een heel venster op te gebruiken aan een mixer-scherm. Belangrijker nog dat ik mijn handen muisloos kan gebruiken om te mixen, dat scheelt voor mij enorm in RSi en het voelt gewoon heel vertrouwd. Ik gebruik nu een P1-m + 2 x P1-x en het maakt niet uit waar je je Master neerzet, het werkt gewoon.
Ik werkte voorheen met 3 x Behringer BCF2000 maar dat heeft niet de helft aan opties en dingen waar je echt wat aan hebt die ik nu gebruik. Om maar te zwijgen van de ellende van de volgorde steed opnieuw goed zetten.
Ik heb nu 3 x 8 kanalen te bedienen maar je munt tot 8 x 8 gaan als je de 7 P1-x erbij zou zetten.

Ik ben er heel tevreden over - raad je wel aan altijd de D4 / D4-T als combi aan te schaffen want dat maakt echt het verschil en het geheel compleet!
