No more piecing together a rack full of separate outboard units. One channel, everything in, nothing left out. The CORE is Manley’s distillation of decades of circuit design: elements from the VOXBOX and the SLAM! brought together in a single streamlined strip. This isn’t just marketing talk about ‘the best of both worlds’ – it’s literally the same ELOP optical compression and the same ‘high voltage equals headroom’ philosophy you’re familiar with from the rest of the range, now in a form you can run straight through your signal in a single pass. It’s a product for those sessions where you want a single channel to sound spot on straight away – vocals, bass, DI guitar – without having to patch six devices into a rack to get there. Hand-assembled in California, like everything at Manley. Smaller than the Force, but with more inside. That’s no coincidence; this is the entry-level model in the Manley universe, which with this brand still means: no compromise on sound, only on the number of channels.
