The icon CubeMi 5 is a 5-in/-out USB MIDI interface for both PC and Mac. It has a tight MIDI timing and is powered via USB, which means you won't need an external power adapter. Each MIDI port has its own LED indicator. The CubeMi has a compact housing and is suitable for use in the studio as well as on stage.

Good MIDI interface, works like a charm, the only reason I'm giving it a 3, because it strongly suggests that it would make a nice "tower" with MacMinis, but hell no, totally not the right size for that. I was thinking about sending it back just because of the size issue, it was such a dissapointment. Finally I kept it as it does what it needs to do, and probably I could have found out about the size issue by checking the product's parameters.
Bottom line: if you chose this to have a nice little setup with your MacMini: forget it!

Mooi kwa uiterlijk en van goede stevige kwaliteit, daar gaat het uiteindelijk om. Erg fijn om met 1 usb midi-poort 5 traditionele 5din verbindingen te maken. Plug en play, erg fijn, heel erg tevreden mee dus. Klein minpuntje; heeft alleen geen aan/uit knop dus staat wel altijd aan en verzend niet op alle poorten tegelijk een start/stop commando, met je DAW werkt het verder prima.

Schitterend product voor een mooie prijs. Ik kocht eerder de veel duurder MOTU Micro Lite waar ik meer problemen mee heb. Als je twijfelt tussen Motu of deze, kies deze! Ingeplugd en nooit enige problemen mee gehad.

Heel blij met dit apparaat. Werd meteen herkend door zowel Logic en Protools en communiceert feilloos met mijn MPC en synths. Apparaat ziet er ook heel fancy uit (vergelijkbaar met een Mac Mini) en is zeker niet duur voor wat je krijgt. Twijfelde eerst om de MOTU MIDI Express 128 aan te schaffen maar ik ben zeer blij dat ik hiervoor gekozen heb.
