Characteristics of the Akai MPD232

The MPD232's sixteen thick pads are backlit and sensitive to both velocity and pressure, making them perfect for creating grooves. Eight sliders, knobs and buttons are also at your disposal, as well as a channel strip. As they support various banks, that amounts to a much higher number of controls than a brief glance at the panel suggests. A large display keeps you informed, and helps you out while you adjust your settings. Unlike the MPD32, the MPD232 is equipped with a step sequencer, providing you with even more options.
