The Launchpad Mini MK3 is the ultimate compact and portable MIDI grid-controller from Novation. This USB-powered melody, bass and beat machine comes fully equipped with 64 RGB pads. Easily integrate this highly intuitive hands-on instrument into your home studio or even chuck it on the fold-down shelf on a train, connect it to your laptop and kill off boredom by getting some writing done during long journeys. Since this is a child of Novation, it naturally works seamlessly with Ableton Live and comes with a tight software package included.
Launchpad Mini MK3: Prepare to Launch
The 64 pads give the perfect representation of your current Ableton Live session when you can clearly and easily see the clips you're working with while the highly useful stop, solo and mute that line the edges of the grid, give you a tight grip on your performance. Prima dingetje, compact, fijn te configureren en niet te duur.
Ik gebruik dat om Cantabile (software voor live muziek spelen) aan te sturen. Dus geen DAW intergratie, gebruik evenmin de bijgeleverde software. Maar werkt dus prima voor mijn noden.

Meest veelzijdige launcher en vervanging van keyboard , je speelt hier beter een virtuele sax of trompet op dan met toetsen.
En sinds Bitwig en Logic ook alle novation launchpads ondersteunen ook veelzijdiger dan de Push van Ableton , let wel met de gratis software driven by moss kan je de push ook dat doen laten ( zoek ff op youtube )
De mini gebruik ik meestal met de ipad ,gewoon inpluggen en spelen, in Aum en Cubasis, etc.
Heb me de launchpad pro Mk3 dan ook maar aangeschaft om in Bitwig te gebruiken,super easy workflow.
En ook de kwaliteit van de hardware is puik, en dit aan betaalbare prijzen.
Zo hoop dat dit iemand helpen kan in zijn keuze , maak nog vele mooie klanktapijtjes

Een super fijn launchpad, niet groot op je bureau, snelle aansluiting met Abelton Live en goed gevoel bij finger drumming. Handig instelbaar met bijgeleverde software. Nog niet alle mogelijkheden uitgeprobeerd maar is verslavend als het gaat om finger drumming. Super pad!

De Launchpad is in gebruik als input voor Vmix, een live videomixer.
De 64 buttons zijn als toetsen 'ABC' etc te programmeren (met een groepkleur), maar ook als MIDI commando. (Midi is beter zelfs, omdat toetsen ook in andere Vmix dialogen worden gebruikt :)
We bedienen er onze cameras, overgangen en lowerthirds mee.
Het is nog even wennen, maar bediening op deze manier helpt ons goed.
Tof ding.

Na slechte ervaringen met andere merken waarbij het ongelofelijk moeilijk bleek ze werkend te krijgen in DAW's, is dit product een verademing! Werkelijk plug & play. Ook leuke bijgeleverde software (download). Eenvoudige opzet en begrijpelijke gebruiksaanwijzing.
Enige minpuntje is het ontbreken van aanslaggevoeligheid, maar voor deze prijs mag je dat eigenlijk ook niet verwachten.

Dit is mijn eerste grid controller. Ik gebruik hem vooral als eenvoudige bediening van Ableton. Dat doet hij prima. Het is met een grid controller zoveel prettiger om backing tracks af te spelen en je eigen partijen erover heen te spelen (in mijn geval gitaar). Ik moet er niet aan denken dat steeds met de muis te moeten doen. De integratie met Ableton is uistekend. Ook het vingerdrummen gaat prima, al is de controller niet aanslaggevoelig. Al met al een prima introductie in de wereld van grid controllers. Ik sluit niet uit dat er in de toekomst een 'echte' Ableton Push komt, maar voor nu een prima ding, zeker als je de prijs vergelijkt met een Push! (Vier sterren omdat ik vijf sterren reserveer voor als een product mijn verwachting te boven gaat)

Ik heb deze controller nu een weekje en heb er veel mee gespeeld. Pas op, dit is zeer verslavend! Ik gebruik hem als controller in Ableton, en het maken van backing tracks voor gitaar en ermee loopen is een feest! Het is mijn eerste grid controller en ik gebruik hem in aanvulling op mijn midi keyboard. Erg relaxed werken! Installeren gaat vanzelf en als ik YT en verschillende handleidingen lees is er nog zeer veel mogelijk. Voorlopig ben ik hier wel zoet mee, maar sluit ik een push in de toekomst niet uit. Kortom, een aanrader voor een eerste grid controller. De software had ik al, maar als je die nog niet hebt krijg je deze erbij (wel de startversies van bv. Ableton, maar daar kun je al ver mee komen).

Tof ding! Niet duur, doet precies wat ie moet doen en de kwaliteit is goed. Voelt solide aan, ligt stevig en schuift niet weg.
De QuickStart helpt je op weg om software te installeren en de basics onder de knie te krijgen. Daarna is het een kwestie van beginnen en je creativiteit de vrije loop laten.
Ik gebruik ‘m vooral als controller voor Ableton in combinatie met een piano en gitaar zodat ik snel een nieuwe loop kan opnemen, maar je kunt ‘m ook goed gebruiken als instrument door de drums en keys modi, waardoor je een bijvoorbeeld een chromatische keyboard tot je beschikking hebt.
Verder kun je in de usermode alle knoppen zelf mappen en alles naar je eigen zin maken.
Ik vind dit een dikke aanrader voor iedereen die wil beginnen op deze manier muziek te maken of een goede controller voor z’n daw zoekt. Relatief goedkoop, goede kwaliteit en software om meteen van start te kunnen.
