If you want a separate filter in your 1U rack module, then the Vermona Action Filter 4 is an elegant solution. It features two accurate cutoff rotary knobs and is engineered for very specific tasks. There is no automated mode, this device gives you complete control. There are also rotary knobs for resonance and gain, and you can choose between band and notch to further fine-tune your sound. On the rear, you'll find jack/RCA connections.
