A good kick or bass drum is pretty much essential for genres like EDM and producers often spend lots of time tweaking parameters to get the perfect sound. The Vermona Kick Lancet is a device designed especially to produce awesome kick/bass drum sounds. You can customise the sounds by using the various on-board controls that include pitch bend, noise, FM and balls! Sounds can be triggered via MIDI, gate, audio and switch or via the trigger button on the control panel, although this is primarily meant for testing sounds only.

A volume decay and fast pitch envelope forms the basis of most electronic bass drums which is why the Lancet has these controls on board too. Two FM controls allow you to add a bit of colour and variation to the sounds, while bend and time controls make up the rest of the 'source' control panel. Underneath that, the mixer section lets you make further adjustments using the attack, noise and wave controls. Finally, there's the beautifully-named balls control that gives the low frequencies an extra boost.
