For years, Korg has been an absolute authority in the field of musical instruments like synthesizers, effects equipment, DJ gear, etc. Their experience is reflected in the Monotron series. These manageable synthesizers are highly mobile. They're bound to give you hours upon hours of enjoyment! The Monotron design looks very slick: functionality, playing comfort and design are all combined in this wonderful synth.
Korg Monotron DUO synthesizer characteristics
The Monotron Delay is an analogue synthesizer with three different LFO audio patterns. Five knobs allow you to modulate sounds. The LFO knobs, for instance, operate the LFO rate and LFO Int. You can also moderate the cut-off, Delay time and feedback. The keys are touch-sensitive and make playing easy. You can simply operate this synthesizer from your comfortable seat!
Standard Korg Monotron series characteristics
All synthesizers in the Monotron series weigh only 95 grams and feature a headphone jack and a speaker. The synth also features a jack AUX input, enabling you to modulate external audio sources. The synthesizer is powered by two AAA batteries, which enable you to play up to eight consecutive hours. Dimensions are very modest: only 120 x 72 x 28 mm.

Great small delay, does what it suppose to do, just pretty hissy and would be nice to have high pass filter, overall wouldn't ask more for such price!

Alle KORG Monotrons zijn geweldige beginner synths, maar de DELAY is in mijn optiek de allervetste. Leuk om mee te spelen en sessies te recorden , maar ook voor subtiele live toevoegingen aan een DJ set een erg leuk apparaat.
Volledig ruisloos is de DELAY bijna niet te krijgen, dus voor zeer professionele toepassingen is deze minder geschikt.
Al met al een leuke, makkelijk mee te nemen instap synthesizer waar je jarenlang plezier van hebt.

Leuke kleine synthesizer voor de absolute beginner. Ook mijn model laat ruis horen zowel door de speaker als door de output. Afgezien daarvan is het geluid uitstekend en het kastje is robuust.

Leuk apparaatje om iemand met geluidssynthese te introduceren maar daar is alles eigenlijk ook mee gezegd. Ik heb hem geprobeerd aan te sluiten op wat ander apparatuur maar er zit een erg storende ruis in welke niet te verhelpen is. Dit maakt het voor dat soort doeleinden ongeschikt. Meer dan een erg vermakelijk stukje speelgoed is het naar mijn mening dus niet.

Geen volwaardige synthesizer maar goed m'n Arturia Matrixbrute is dan ook 1500 euro duurder. Dit voor erbij om wat te pielen erg leuk. Via Line 6 Helix ook gitaar door heen geplugd en dan is het distorted geluid wel erg fijn.
Kortom een super leuk speeltje maar verwacht voor 50 euro geen wonderen of een volwaardige synthesizer.

In eerste instantie lijkt het een leuk apparaatje, maar na wat gebruik valt het toch tegen: de batterijen gaan snel op, er komt al gauw erg veel ruis in het geluid, en de sonische mogelijkheden zijn uiteindelijk toch beperkt... Inderdaad iets voor wanneer de verveling toeslaat en je snel weer op zoek moet gaan naar iets beters!

Leuke synthesizer speeltje. Je kunt er geweldige geluidseffecten mij maken. Met een line in kan je ook geluid er naartoe sturen. Hij produceert wel veel ruis in het geluid en het blijft daardoor maar een speeltje.
