New Tama Cocktail JAM Kits

Almost halfway through 2017, Tama presents new editions of the Cocktail JAM drum kit. There are three new colours and a new configuration too, the Cocktail JAM Mini! This new version has shells that are all 2 inches smaller than the standard JAM and is also available in three colours. Both models are easily transported in two gig bags.

Compact setup

The Cocktail JAM drum kits are easy to take with you wherever you go and don't take up much room once they're set up either. Its ingenious system of tubes and clamps places the bass drum horizontally so the kit's footprint doesn't exceed 4 square metres. As well as a bass drum, the Cocktail JAM consists of a snare, a tom and a floor tom. It also includes a cymbal and a hi-hat arm as well as two gig bags, one for the shells and one for the hardware.

Jazz & hip-hop

The Cocktail JAM kits show us that a compact kit can sound full as well. The shells are made of 100% birch and the new Sound Focus Pad bass drum has a mute that delivers extra punch. That makes these kits suitable for styles like jazz and hip-hop and they're perfect for intimate settings and rehearsal spaces.
