The Silencer noise gate effects pedal reduces unwanted ambient noise to a minimum. The Silencer 2.0

The new version of this pedal was just reintroduced to the market following its appearance at the 2015 Summer NAMM. It has three knobs - threshold, reduction and release. The threshold knob allows you to adjust the level at which the noise gate opens to let the signal pass through. With the reduction knob, you can control how much the gated signal will be reduced. Finally, with the release knob, you can adjust the length of time the signal is filtered for. This can be anything from eight milliseconds to four seconds.

Eliminate unwanted noise

The Silencer has jack inputs and outputs, as well as send and return jacks. By using the foot switch, a buffered bypass can be created. The Silencer is delivered with a 9V battery included, but can also be powered using an optional adapter. It can be used to control a single pedal but is powerful enough to keep your entire pedal board in check.
