Electro Harmonix has somehow managed to cram the immense sound of the Canyon delay into one of their itty-bitty Pico Series stompboxes. Trigger that classic Canyon echo and stretch it from 8 milliseconds to 3 whole seconds via the Delay pot. Dictate the number of repeats via the Feedback pot and, when the trails are bypassed, you're treated to unlimited repeats. Hit the footswitch two or more times to activate the tap tempo and match the repeats to the beat and, to gain the correct note division, simply punch the Tap/Div button until the LED lights up in the right colour...

The EHX Pico Canyon Echo: Ultra-Small Pedal, Ultra-Big Delays

Light the LED up in red for quarter-notes (crotchets) and light it up in green for eighth notes (quavers) then, to punctuate or lengthen the eighths by half, keep hitting the Tap-Div button until the LED is lit up in orange. Meanwhile, the Filter pot on the left can be twisted to apply a high-pass filter for some sweet, tape-style repeats and the Blend pot can be tweaked to strike the perfect wet-to-dry balance. As a final treat, EHX have even thrown in a 9V power supply.
