The artist perceptual licence is a cut down version of previous Sibelius software. Considerably less instruments, some features missing such as layout of bars by number, new bars can only be added one at a time and only on the end. I haven't found anything else missing but I haven't had it that long. there are ways around these missing parts so it's still good value for money. Just be aware.

Zelf werk ik al jaren voor de bewerking van koormuziek met Sibelius. Helaas begaf mijn laptop het en uiteraard ging ik weer voor mijn vertrouwde Sibelius. Goede keuze!!

Sibelius Artist is het programma als je geen grote orkest scores schrijft. Je kunt zestien instrumenten tegelijk opnemen in de score. Wat ik een absoluut minpunt vind is het ontbreken van multirests. Ook in kleine bezetting komt het voor dat je meerdere maten rust hebt. Dat is een afknapper.

Ik ken Sibelius al jaren.
Heb daarmee al heel wat bewerkingen gemaakt en heb daar altijd mijn gading gevonden.
Daarom verkoos ik opnieuw voor Sibelius.
Gelukkig is het assortiment nu verruimd zodat iedereen kan kiezen uit een heel ruim aanbod.
Via Bax Music kreeg ik telefonisch een goede hulp bij mijn keuze. Natuurlijk, des te goedkoper des te beperkter de mogelijkheden maar voor deze prijs zijn de mogelijkheden toch al uitgebreid.
Ik ben een tevreden man.
