dB Technologies DVA M2P line-array speaker

Line-array setups are becoming increasingly popular, like the compact DVA M2P by dB Technologies. It has a capacity of 300 watts and is designed to stack easily. This passive speaker has two 6.5-inch woofers and is engineered to emphasise the mid-range of the audio spectrum in particular. The two 1-inch tweeters are responsible for a broad high frequency range from 78 Hz to 19 kHz. In terms of construction, this speaker's frame was designed to facilitate a line-array construction, and its compact size and weight make it easy to transport as well.

dB Technologies DVA M2P: modern line-array

Unlike more traditional audio brands, dB Technologies have chosen to make this speaker out of polypropylene. This material is lightweight at just 7.1 kg and much easier to process, which keeps production costs low. On the rear, there are various connections including a SpeakOn input/output to daisy-chain multiple speakers. Boasting an output of 150 watts RMS, the DVA M2P is able to generate an SPL of 126 dB, which is certainly impressive considering its modest dimensions!
