The ZLX-15 by Electro Voice is a 15-inch two-way passive speaker from the popular ZLX series. Of all their speakers, the ZLX-15 is the most portable, which makes it suitable for mobile applications. Despite its light weight, however, this speaker is built to last. The cabinet is made of rugged plastic that can withstand a beating on stage and on the road, for instance. EV speakers have a modern appearance and embody authentic Electro-Voice quality.

Because the ZLX-15 is lightweight, it's manageable and relatively easy to place on a speaker stand. This passive speaker has a sleek, modern design in which the woofer and the compression driver each have their own baffle. This way, they can do their jobs efficiently and offer better timing, which you can hear! The 15-inch speaker can deliver 250 watts of continual power with peaks of no fewer than 1000 watts! The maximum sound pressure of this unit is an impressive 126 dB, which is plenty to get your show on the road!

Wrote the following about Electro-Voice ZLX-15 15-inch 2-way passive speaker

Had al goede ervaring met de ZLX-15P (aktieve versie.) voor mobile DJ werk.
Heb twee stuks pasieve gekocht vanwege een zeer goede aanbieding.
Deze hangen nu aan een Crown XLS1502 amp.

Zeer heldere hoge tonen en redelijke volle bas.
Voor extra bas is wel een aktieve of pasieve sub woofer nodig.

Ideaal voor mobiel gebruik, laag gewicht en makkelijk te vervoeren.
Natuurlijk weer snelle levering van Bax.
