HK Audio's L5 112 F is the big brother of the L5 112 X. The F stands for full-range, which is quite aptly chosen as this 12-inch speaker has a frequency range between 60 Hz and 19 kHz. Thanks to its larger size, this speaker produces fuller, deeper bass. Put two of these speakers together and you have a full-fledged PA system that is perfect for mobile DJs, bands and the like. However, when you use the L5 112F as a satellite in combination with a subwoofer from HK Audio's Linear 5 series (like the L Sub 1200) you are ready to take on the big stuff.

Technical Details of the L5 112 F

The L5 112 F features a 12-inch woofer and a 1-inch driver that have a power capacity of up to 500 Watts RMS. Additionally, the asymmetrical horn - with a projection of 60 - 90 x 55 degrees - can be rotated so that you can adjust the spread of the sound to suit your location. Moreover, these speakers feature a safety circuit (with PTCs and pilot light) so they are even more reliable when producing a top sound.

Connectors

This 8-Ohm speaker is equipped with two durable locking speaker connectors to connect it quickly, safely and securely. Thanks to its two practical handles and DuoTilt stand adapter you can easily put the L5 112 F on a stand. What's more, three M8 rigging points allow you to fly it from a ceiling or truss construction.

Stylish and Sturdy Hybrid Housing

The housing of the L5 112 F is designed to be incredibly durable. The black MDF/birch plywood hybrid are excellently capable for dealing with a rough life on stage and in clubs, for instance. Moreover, the rugged-looking grille features special acoustic foam on the inside to protect the drivers from moisture and dirt - ensuring a long life span.
