Yamaha Stagepas 200 Portable PA Speaker
Excellent detailed, balanced sound from this solid portable amplifier/PA. The comprehensive settings via the app offer incredible control over the sound. It has a detail and weight to the sound the likes of the Street Cube EX can't compete with. Having options like phantom power on the first 3 channels, 4 band EQ, compressors (on both the channels and the master) and the ability to save settings leave few things in the marketplace on a par.
Add the battery option as I have, and you really have a great portable solution. The dedicated roller bag is certainly worth it given it isn't as light as some others out there. It's not a cheap case, but it is very practical as well as good quality, and you have a unit worth protecting.
My Faith Jupiter sounds so incredibly close to a bigger, louder version of it's acoustic tone, it is inspiring! Add the ability to use my favourite live condenser mic and control the sound using EQ and compression leaves me pleased beyond expectation. Highly detailed without being harsh or over-bright. It also caters for my wife's condenser mic and a backing track all at once.
I think you'll be hard pushed to match this even with a chunk more money to spend.
