The Kickport FX2 Port is one of Kickport's unique sound-enhancing products. It follows the principle of the acclaimed The Kickport: a port that attaches into a drumhead. With the FX series, however, it involves a tube in front of the drumhead, rather than the resonant drumhead. This FX2-FT is particularly suitable for floortoms between 16 and 20 inches in diameter.

The effect of the FX2

By reducing unwanted overtones, the FX2 Port makes the most of the natural sound of the kettle. You will notice that the sound becomes warmer and more focused, both for the drummer and for the audience and microphone. This 2-inch variant is intended for drums (snares, toms and bass drums) with a diameter from about 16 inches.
