General

The Eventide Mixing Link is a high-quality microphone preamp with a built-in effects loop. It offers a wide dynamic range in preamplification with a signal-noise ratio greater than 120 dB. The built-in effects loop can accommodate both balanced and unbalanced signals, meaning you can easily hook up mixing boards and guitars alike. The aux-in supports signals from various different devices, including portable media players. During live performances, the foot switch can be used in either latch mode or momentary mode.

Eventide Mixing Link: flexible

The Mixing Link supports three different operating modes: 100% microphone with effects blended in, 50/50 balance between mic and effects, or 100% effects with no mic. Thanks to the built-in 48V phantom power you can even use the Mixing Link with a condenser microphone. Furthermore, the switchable ground lift will take care of any noise caused by grounding. Additionally, the guitar and headphone outputs have separate volume controls, and thanks to the included universal 9V adapter, you can use the Mixing Link no matter where you are in the world. Once again, Eventide ensures excellent quality with the Mixing Link mic preamp and effects loop.

Eventide Mixing Link preamplifier and effects loop

Enkele jaren geleden gekocht om vocals te combineren met (initieel voor gitaar bedoelde) effectpedalen. Sindsdien onmisbaar.

Werkt prima. Ik gebruik hem indien mogelijk van "to amp => DI" omdat ik soms de indruk heb dat deze iets stiller is dan de DI van de ML zelf. Maar voor optredens of repetities als er geen extra (goede) DI aanwezig is, is de DI van ML ook zeker prima. Ligt misschien aan het exemplaar.

Verder ook al gebruikt voor wat homerecording als preamp ipv alleen de preamp van focusrite. Naar mijn mening is preamp van ML van opmerkelijk betere kwaliteit.

Was tijdens covid ook handig om vanop afstand met vocal coach enigszins kwalitatief vocals te mixen met karaoke backing track (gsm => aux of from FX) + direct monitoring via "Phones". Daarbij is het ook zeker aangenaam dat er geen 48V door de effectpedalen loopt :D

Misschien inderdaad wat jammer dat "From FX" mono is.

Voor mij voldoet de Mixing Link absoluut. Al veel plezier aan gehad
