General
The number 1073 has the same effect on any well-versed studio engineer and producer as a bell does on Pavlov's dog. A legend among microphone preamps, this is the bit of kit that every studio already has, or desperately needs. Here, Black Lion Audio have stacked four 1073-inspired preamps into a meaty box, resulting in the B173 Quad. Complete with a sweet switch and knob filled control panel for toggling phantom power and phase inversion, the Quad doesn't just look great in a rack, but sets you up with four superior and sought-after microphone preamps.
