General
The Cranborne Audio EC2 isn't just any two-channel microphone preamplifier. Both channels boast a saturation circuit with two tone colour settings. First off, the Thump circuit harbours the sound of a classic British preamp while the Cream circuit has the warm character of a tube preamp and, since the EC2 comes with a monitoring section that accommodates the use of two pairs of headphones, you can split both inputs or monitor both at the same time. There's an AUX input for monitor mixes and with Cranborne's C.A.S.T. System you can easily send four balanced audio signals (2 in/2 out) up and down a CAT5 cable to a bridge distance of up to 100 metres without risking signal quality loss.
