General

The Warm Audio 2-channel WA273-EQ microphone preamp and EQ is a worthy replica of the legendary Neve 1073, which is known as the Holy Grail of preamp EQ's. Warm Audio's WA273-EQ is a modern tribute to the iconic preamp, and its analogue circuitry has modelled after the original with great accuracy and down the last detail. Just like with the 1073, you can push the preamps to their limit for gorgeous harmonic distortion and turn the output control down to make sure the converters don't clip. You'll hear the unmistakable sweet, smooth character of the 1073 when you use the WA273-EQ with dynamic or condenser microphones. To make this happen, Warm Audio worked very closely with the renowned British Carnhill Transformers and Blore Edwards.
